Do you also believe in the chant that the Pro-Palestinians are saying, "from the river to the sea Palestine will be free"? That's what I see in a lot of the signs that people are carrying at these Pro-Palestine rallies in America.

That sentence means the extermination of the Jews. And "free", in this case, does not mean liberty, it means they will be rid of the Jews.

I just do not understand how when the Jews get attacked out of the blue and 1,200 of them are slaughtered, how anyone could be on the side of the people who support that massacre. It does not make any sense.

BTW I am not Jewish.

Your not Jewish…
No shit…

I can’t understand how the descendants of those who suffered under genocide and concentration camps created them again themselves to inflict the suffering that was inflicted on them for land.

Even starvation, the slaughter of children and their own people.

Or it could very well be the truth but you prefer to believe Islamic propaganda. Did you know the Quran tells Muslims that it is okay to lie if they are promoting Islam? It also tells them to kill all Jews. So you tell me who's the real propagandists. It ain't the Jews.
0 ups, 4w
You can't make up your mind, now, can you? So many lines of fake propaganda, it's amazing that you can keep them separate.

There is no Palestine, it is still Israel, Judea is gone, Palestinians took it over, but Jews still live in it, the Muslims want to kill them, but in 1400 years, they couldn't locate the handful of them that were still left there.... Pick one bogus narrative, and stick with it. It works better that way. Not that you'd convince anybody, but at least they can't bust you on your contradictory inconsistencies.

The Sephardim - who I keep mentioning to you about but you keep pretending you don't know who they are - are Spanish Jews, that's what the name means, it's Jewish, Sepharda, for Spain. But yet they're call Arab Jews. Why are Spanish Jews called Arab Jews?

The Mizrahii go even farther back. It's basically a big lump term for various strains of Jews living in the area for thousands of years. Mizrahi in Iran, for example, go back to the Babylonian enslavement. That's well over two and a half millennia. Up until 1979, it was the second largest Jewish population in the region. 2600 years, and the Iranians weren't able to exterminate them yet that's what they always wanted to do? Does this actually make sense to you?

The real propagandists here are JIDF. But you already know that. Your claim is that you don't actually live there.

Maybe perhaps I just have too much faith that no one whose people who suffered with us would ever inflict it on others…

But to be fair conservatives are brainwashed into unconditional support for Israel to trigger Armageddon.

As if man could ever bring about the end of the world that god supposedly intends them to enact by reading a book like summoning Christ is an IKEA manual.
2 ups, 4w
Problem is "Never again" has been pummeled into people around the world for the last 80 years. Problem is, it didn't exactly pan out exactly as intended. The notion that somehow it was going to be taken as the exclusive propriety of just one people was a contradiction which didn't quite imbue everybody with the hypocrisy it was assumed that it would.

No, " From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" means, "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free." Very much and quite literally, hence why it says, "from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free"

Hope this clarifies things!

Well technically Palestine is a place and not a people. Going back into ancient times Palestine and Israel was used to mean the same thing.

I'm not Jewish but I support the right of the Jews to live on the land that has been theirs for millenniums. And live there without fear that another religion (that has in it holy writings the complete annihilation of every Jew on the planet) attacking them. If the Muslims who are not affiliated with Hamas don't like living there, Israel is a free country, they can leave anytime they want. They are much freer in Israel than in any of the Muslim controlled countries.

Um, no, it wasn't theirs for nearly 2,000 years while they were in Eastern Europe. That's kind of a long time, longer than the time they had lived there before it got renamed, "Palestina."

Do you know what country's name today sounds an awful lot like "Palestina"?
3 ups, 4w,
1 reply
2,000 years??? That is a really long time, are you sure about that or are you just making stuff up again? From when to when? Unfortunately for your theory, not all Jews left Israel.

The early recorded use of the word, "Palestine" comes from about 500 BC. It was used by the Greek historian, Herodotus. It is believed to have been translated from Egyptian hieroglyphics as "Peleset". It may be based on the ancient Hebrew word, "Pelesheth" which means "land of sojourners" referring to them arriving in Israel from Egypt.

There was the Babylonian exile from 586 - 538 BC and many Jews left but there were some who remained.

Then the Roman exile around 70 AD and many Jews left but still some remained.

Then in the Middle Ages the Jews were persecuted by Byzantines, Muslims and Crusaders but still there was a Jewish presence that remained.

After that was the Ottoman Empire (1517-1917) and still there were many Jews living in Israel.

It looks like your attempt to rewrite history just took a nose dive into the toilet.
2 ups, 4w,

I posted no such theory. Don't bear false witness, God don't like it.
Mizrahi, remember? Sephardim, remember?

My guy copypastes Google, then leaves out that Peleset (PLST) came from a 1150 BC inscription about Ramses III.

But here, looks go directly to the first mention in the Good Book itself, by Yahweh's very own Chosen:

Genesis 21:34:

"וַיָּ֧גׇר אַבְרָהָ֛ם בְּאֶ֥רֶץ פְּלִשְׁתִּ֖ים יָמִ֥ים רַבִּֽים׃ {פ}
And Abraham resided in the land of the Philistines a long time."

Now I know what you're going to say, right, track housing, right? I mean, towns of this stuff pop up overnight in Arizona and Florida and Nevada...
But, Yahweh sells Abraham a deed and there's already Philistines already living round them parts already? Drat those fabric of space-time bending Iranians and their Hamas henchmen!
2 ups, 4w,

How many Philistines are running around today? Unlike the word Palestine, the Philistines were a people. Palestine is an area of land.
2 ups, 4w,
1 reply
All of them. All of them are running around. They're hanging out with Jesus and the Apostles getting ready for the Second Coming which was supposed to happen during their lifetimes. And Moses. He was old. And Cain. Guy was so old, the Nod was a long established city by the time he went looking for a wife. He married one of his own great great grand nieces.

Palestine is an area of land that the Romans evacuated near 2,000 years ago of its primary inhabits. Not even Yahweh tried to stop them. He didn't even bother sending them Messiah to smotheth the Romans and rescue the Judeans, although bar Kokhba came close. Temporarily.
1 up, 4w,

The Philistines was a seafaring group that some historians believe are from north Africa. They vanished from the world (which means their society collapsed and the assimilated into other civilizations) before Jesus was born. I don't remember the date but this is what I remember from my History of World Civilizations class in college.

There could be descendant of the the Philistines mixed in with both Arabic and Jewish people. They could also be mixed in with any of the southern European cultures as well.

They did not exist when Jesus was here. They are not the Arabic people living in Israel who more recently are going by the name Palestinians.

As I told you before the word "generation" doesn't always mean a time period. It also means a people. And clearly that what those who translated the New Testament from Greek to English meant. None of His Apostles wrote anything about Jesus returning in a few years. In fact John laid out a time frame of when things were supposed to happen before Jesus returned.

The Jews hadn't even returned to Israel, en masse, until 1947. There was just far too many things that haven't happened yet.

This is what you get when you indoctrinate yourself with atheist dribble. They constantly miss stuff because they just cherry pick the Bible. Read it for yourself. Oops I forgot who I'm talking to. The Bible is TLDR for you.

No historian believes the Philistines were from North Africa.

Generation means generation, hence the term, generation.
That's what Jesus said, and he said to his followers, not just in that quote, but in others specifically to them.
The the temple was destroyed, the country was ended, the people were scattered, just like the Israelites before them, Judeans were no longer. The time for a Messiah (dead or alive-ish) to rebel against the Romans is long gone. Bar Kokhba came close though.
Even the attempt at revival got the name of New Judea wrong, as if no Jews every bothered looking at a map of their own ancestral lands.

Why are you calling Jesus a liar?
Oh, caught the end just now. So you're an atheist who never read the Bible. That's new, it's usually the self-proclaimed religious who've never looked at the Book. Well, other than that line in Leviticus regarding a certain preoccupation of theirs and the first one or two in Genesis.

What an amazing rebuttal.

New York City has a population that's bigger than those of 29 States.
The Bronx is a county. With nearly 1.5 million people. And yet in an open park in a crowded urban neighborhood that charged no admission for the rally as per usual in Trump shindigs, that's the size of a trump crowd?

Look up the Crotona neighborhood, and compare those demographics to the crowd in that rally. There are literally more neckbeards in that picture that I've seen in the entirety of my life here. Literally.
Are the Koch Brothers still trucking people in?
1 up, 4w
I know you like to think that you are all historians all wrapped up into one but I can only tell you what my college professor told me. It is possible for a professor to get something wrong but I don't think that was the case this time.

Generation means just what it says in the dictionary. You should buy one and use it.

The Jews were scattered but that does not change the fact that there were still Jews living in Israel. Go look it up. It's not hard to find that out.

Don't forget to turn the sound on.

"Ahh, so you wish you could Little House on the Prairie it but are stuck in a wee replica of a big nashtee city because complaining about Bideneconomicalted groceries is ssssssssssssssssssssssso much better?"

I don't live in no crappy downtown area. I live in the suburbs. Get it straight!!!

I also didn't blame Biden for housing prices, at least in Utah. Utah is now one of the most expensive states to live in outside of New York and California. What made Utah so expensive? California ex-pats. Utah is being flooded with them and there is now a severe housing shortage. And there is this thing called supply-side or trickle down economics that says when there is a shortage of anything prices go up and when there is an excess of anything prices go down.

I would say that I'm also a California ex-pat but I left California long before Gov. Nuisance destroyed the state. And also I was born in Georgia. But you know all of that. You have all of that information in your profile on me. How many ImgFlipers do you have a profile on? Do you even have a life outside of your profiling of ImgFlipers? Maybe this is your career. The Democrat party is flush with cash. They can afford to pay social media profilers on all platforms.

I only bring it to bother you with it. That still doesn't change the fact that I hate big cities, they bigger the more I hate them. I hate large crowds of people. I don't have enochlophobia or anything like that, I just prefer life in the country and as of yet I haven't lived rural enough for me.

The image attached to this comment is sort of like how I would like to live. Not so much the log cabin, just a normal house but out in the woods in the mountains. Also not too far away from a city because I gotta buy groceries and stuff.

That wasn't a rebuttal. I just saw the meme and thought of you.

I don't care the NYC is huge, in fact that makes me want to stay away even more.

But in the biggest cities in the world, NYC, doesn't even make the top 10. If I remember right it doesn't even make the top 50 but I'll have to check on that. Tokyo majorly kicks your butt. So does London and Mexico City.

So there it is Mr. Center-of-universe.
1 up, 4w
Correct, the size of NYC is constricted by borders. Can't expand outwards because outwards is Westchester and New Jersey. Counties, remember? Counties are a thing.

The biggest city in America continues to rankle those from (in)significantly smaller abodes.

If you didn't care, then you wouldn't care.
You brought it up, yet again for the nth time, not me. And I'm cool with that.
