Ppl are so scared of communists but they're always so chill. And usually they're just like, hey, you should be able to live for free.

If you look at actual communist countries though, you'll see that communism is not a good thing

It worked well in the past before capitalist powers invaded

The only reason why Communist countries even existed was because of the Communist revolution in Russia. They destroyed the Monarchy, and went on to cause other evils to civilians. Some of my grandparents and great-grandparents suffered from the hands of communism when they lived in the USSR. Many were imprisoned because they were Christian, as communism is supposed to be atheist.

The first experiment with communism that I'm aware of, was the Paris Commune. It worked great - and scared the sh*t out of the rich and powerful. Nobody was harmed.

Behind the October Revolution and the Bolsheviks - were a bunch of western powers - like Germany (Lenin was sent to Russia by German Intelligence), and Wall Street - Warburg and the Rothschilds and Rockefellers and the Koch brother's father, etc..

Vietnam went pretty well, for the Vietnamese - once the US left them alone.

China brought a Billion people out of poverty. When I was a kid - China was the poorest country on Earth - in the wake of the Japanese occupation, and the Civil War (against US-backed crooks - who became "Taiwan").

Cuba is a MUCH better place to live than Haiti, the DR, or Guatemala or Honduras, etc.. Same with Nicaragua - though they are more socialist, than full-on communist, now.

I know not all communism is bad, some can even be good. However, I still oppose it especially because of what it did to Russia in 1917

I'm sorry your ancestors had a bad experience with communism. I know lots of bad Marxists that are super rude, but not all communists act that way.

I know, not all of them. I'm just saying Communist countries often become highly corrupt over time

I know some do. Its way easier for Communist Society's to avoid corruption when they're smaller factions. Large scale communism would be nice, but I don't see it happening any time soon.

Communism is good as an idea, but it often fails when actually put in place

It definitely works. It was the main economic system before capitalism.

It led to greater poverty than before though. And before both communism and capitalism, there were other economic types which worked well.

Communism was actually the first economic system to exist. It predated money.

Before communism, there were traditional economies, based on trading goods without money

Yeah. Communism.

In a Communist society, all people are supposedly equal with no higher or lower class. And wealth is shared among all people. However, it was not this way in ancient times. There were Monarchies (the first form of government) where kings had great authority. There were high and low class people. Some lived to be very rich, while others were down in poverty. And they traded goods, but not shared them.

Yeah. I'm talking about non-fuedal countries.

Communism is different than that.

According to Marxists and stuff but they're kinda gatekeepers.

There's more to communism - than just the thinking of Marx and Engles. There's also folks like Bakunin and Emma Goldman.

Cuba has a bunch of Catholics (and ???) that don't get persecuted.

Cuba is a different country from the USSR though, they could have different policies. I'm not against Cuba as a country, I think it's a good nation.

The worst abuses of human rights in Cuba - occur in the overtly capitalist, and tacitly fascist Guantanamo Bay Naval Base. The problems with the Cuban economy are the intentional results of US Foreign Policy - Hybrid warfare and the economic sanctions and blockade. They literally talk about their desire that the Hybrid warfare regime should cause hardships on the economy and the people of Cuba - thereby leading to "regime change"... And sure, it hasn't worked over the last 65 years... But who knows - maybe the second or third consecutive 65 year spans, will be the charm...
