Certainly Barack Obama was no different. I recall him when he was still just a U.S. Senator on the presidential campaign trail muttering about "they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them." 2nd Amendment hatred, Christianity hatred, and race-agitating all in one glorious leftist Dem Party package.

Not only that but they seem to want to talk down to conservatives too about those issues. Like they're better than the people they're supposed to be representing. Which would also explain why they spend so much money on their special interests, instead of what the people want them to.

It's funny how you cut off right before the part where it becomes obvious he 100% predicted the MAGA movement a full 8 years before it metastasized:

Anyone could have predicted that the MAGA movement would have happened after Barack used the IRS to destroy the Tea Party.

You can't stop spontaneous grass root movements unless you wipe out potential leaders; and not even the leftists have reached that point of both doing that and getting away with it cleanly. It was even predictable that someone somewhat possessing Ronald Reagan's leadership abilities would arise . . . although NOBODY could have predicted that it would be Donald Trump . . . absolutely nobody.

That's because Trump doesn't have Reagan's abilities - he's a populist, not a leader.

A populist like Barack Obama? Or is the assertion that Ronald Reagan was not both populist and leader? The notion that one cannot be both was probably generated by the losing side in a political battle between a populist and a regular opportunist of a politician; of the bog-standard grifter type.

No, more like Bernie Sanders, Ross Perot, or Sarah Palin - Obama was very much an establishment leader.

Obama was a Marxist/Socialist trained nation-hating professional race-agitator whom hid behind cynically saying the right thing to people incapable of seeing through him BECAUSE he was the correct minority that they WANTED into the Oval Office at that point in time.
