If you’re getting $20/hr to flip burgers, you can afford the $1.24/hr you pay

If you're wealthy, you don't need my money. Period.

So, you think you’ll need someone else’s money when you retire?

My own investments can give me ROI that will produce far greater yields per month than what SS would provide me from other people who are doing financially worse. That aside, wealthy retirees don't need SS, so I don't support giving them my tax dollars.

That didn’t answer the question.

It’s the educational system of today that prevents them from comprehending the questions asked.

The educational system your generation built and is currently running?

More likely, it was just an answer you didn't like.

No, where in your reply did you answer if you will need someone else’s money when you retire? Its really a simple yes or no question.

No, I get it; you're looking for a "yes" or "no" answer so that you can whip out what you consider to be a "gotcha". I'm telling you exactly what I intend to do financially post-reitrement and you don't seem to be happy with that. That's not my problem though.
Besides; what I said was also true to begin with whether you like it or not.

I’m not looking for a gotcha as much as what you see the future to be

Perfect! My original reply expresses just that at this point as what I see best to do with my own money for my own future.

Yet, it still doesn’t answer the question.

We've had this argument before. Most Boomers are not wealthy. Only a tiny portion of any generation is wealthy. There is the same portion of poor to middle class to rich in the boomer group as in the generations that followed. Politicians deliberately put this nation the deepest into debt that it's ever been . . . and there's the problem; not the old and gradually dying off boomers.

I'm willing to compromise with SS reform that bases it on those who financially need rather than just how old one is.

Marxism, aye. Funny how many people have that mindset after 12 years of primary school leftist political indoctrination inside the United State's public school systems followed by four years of having that polished by Marxist-minded professors. The harsh and bitter historical realities of Socialistic and Marxist rule . . . be damned.

Let me get this straight: Since I am against the government taking tax dollars from a working-class generation (that is financially worse off than previous generations were at the same age) and distributing it to wealthy retirees who are not working, when I could just keep my own money and invest it myself,...that makes me a Marxist?

Make that make sense.

This generation IS NOT financially worse off than previous generations at a similar age where the job market is concerned. Boomers KNEW the effects of economic recessions first hand. It's a leftist generated myth that just graduated high schoolers or college grads instantly got rectally inserted into well paying jobs back in the 1960s and 70s. The vast majority DID NOT.

You want to bust the chops of the guilty then bust the politicians that deliberately sunk this nation into massive debt and kicked hyper inflation into high gear. They are easy to identify . . . they are leftists AND their RINO political allies.

As for social security, there was no addendum that people who earned better wages as they aged would receive LESS social security even though with higher wages they had to pay in MORE for social security. What you have been advocating IS Marxism. Go peddle your claptrap to people that have not read history or studied economics and capitalism.

Well, a heck of a lot of economists are saying that this generation is financially worse off than previous generations. What evidence do you have that they are not?
But let's go back to your previous comments, Friedman. You said that I was a Marxist for wanting to keep my own money rather than pay it to a generation that is wealthier and not working. That's the opposite of Marxism. So because you support the government collecting money from the working class and distributing it to the non-working-wealthy, doesn't that make you the Marxist?

Make. That. Make. Sense. Oh wise one.
