Some corrections...
1. CMEs and solar flares both cause Geomagnetic Storms, or storms caused by solar activity. While they are different, solar flares are sometimes, but not always, accompanied by CMEs.
2. Geomagnetic Storms do have a rating system and are classified from minor to extreme, G1-G5.

The most notable and worst one we've had is a G4, and that was the one you're referencing from 1859 which was called the Carrington Event. The last potential G4 missed our planet somewhere around 2008-2009. Sorry, no references of that but happy to look it up if I can find it again.
The most recent Geomagnetic Storm was a G5 in 2003, later marked down to G3, that affected a localized areas in South Africa and Sweden.

They very rarely exude an extreme coverage of the planet, nor are they likely to consume the entire United States to reach the death toll you're projecting. They are somewhat localized. The Carrington Event appeared to only affect Hawaii, Cuba, parts of the North West United States and some places in Europe. It didn't burn out all of the US's power grid. Ever since, safeguards have been built in the event something like that happens as our understanding of current was a little different in 1859 than it was in 2024.

The "doomsday" scenario projected in the youtube video you posted is very unlikely unless we see something much bigger than a G5. And must before NASA and or the NOAA could alert departments such as the FAA to ground flights. As is the usual protocol and was the protocol over this past weekend.
3. The Executive Order signed by Trump on May 26, 2019 was not overturned by Biden. It is still active. So you can relax.
