Looks like something out of half life

It’s just a bumblebee that’s been chilling on my hand

Sure dont look like any bumblebees i ever seen before

Must be a different species or its a drone, idk

It’s a common eastern honeybee. It has the yellow abdominal segment closest to the thorax.

It could be an eastern carpenter bee, but those have black shiny abdomens, and this didn’t have that.
