Yeah I’m not gonna let people be asshats and just call me whatever they feel like when it’s to demean me because one of the few petty insults they can throw without risking their accounts.

It means, at least the way I was taught, is don’t worry about what people say, what they call you, what pronoun they use. Just be you, and be there for your friends and family when it’s needed. Plain and simple.

Getting triggered by what names other people call you, even to demean you, seems to be a sad way to go through life. F**k ‘em, and go on about your life. It’s happier not being triggered all the time.

They used to call me "she" all the time like somehow that was a bad thing. No biggie, fine with me. But then I revived this account in 2021 after it going dormant for a couple of years after abandoning it for another, using Lady Dimitrescu as an avatar and reviving my Bad Bitch persona, they suddenly they went from calling me, "she," to calling me, "he." Thing is, despite the tone, I never said I was female or male.

I even got a timer last year for saying - I kid you not - "Did you just assume my gender?" which, as you know, the phrase and meme is repeated here dozens of times a day.

They routinely did the same to Octavia_Melody like that was somehow supposed to bother him, even memers that knew him for a decade.

It's just words. If it bothers them so much they have to make it a big deal about it, then the irritation is theirs to deal with. It's not even really projection when it's so openly glaringly blatant. But it is their problem.
