You mean the boomers who were forced at practically gun point to pay into the Social Security fund all their working life and are now called scum-bags by younger generation slackers for taking the Social Security benefits that they paid for?

No, I mean the Boomers who are the wealthiest people in the history of the human race with lowest senior unemployment ever, yet still taking social security away from their children and grandchildren knowing that future generations will never benefit from it ever.

Pssst . . . all it means is that they are the wealthiest by ratio of numbers; but within those numbers are exactly the same ratio of poor to middle class to wealthy. In other words MOST boomers are not well off. As for Social Security; again we are talking about people that paid in all their life and are finally getting back some of what they paid in.

Baby boomers currently control 30% of all household income. There are 71 million boomers in the US all of whom paid less into social security while taking out more than ever before. They are currently draining the US of its entire supply which is why it will be empty by 2035 unless changed. Thats not an opinion, that's a fact.

Do these falsifications of reality provide psychological comfort of some sort? Corrupt politicians irresponsibly spending barge loads of money for insane causes is what's bankrupting Social Security -- because there never was a 'lock box' safely feature; and that has been known for many decades now; and yet STILL irresponsible voters refuse to hold them responsible.

We are now over 30 trillion dollars in debt and printing more money than ever before and thus radically devaluing the dollar while the cost of everything dramatically rises due to Bidenomics. Now there's the problem. Enjoy . . . reality.

Do you know the cohort responsible for putting Biden and his corrupt administration in office (who have devastated the economy, drained social security to its bare bones, and crushed the economic future of my and younger cohorts, while simultaneously getting the usa involved in foreign wars? Boomers. Do you know which is the wealthiest cohort ever to walk the face of this earth in all of human history? Do you know whom kings and emperors of the past would look at and go "Dang, I'm poor compared to you"? Boomers. Do you know who's still receiving 1.5 trillion dollars in social security annually from millennials (who are dwindling in number and economic growth) despite unprecedented levels of wealth and economic control? Boomers. Do you know who bailed out the banks in '08 and pumped Wall Street full of cheap federal dollars, stifling economic growth for the middle class and sealing the fate of the poor? Boomers. Do you know who drastically inflated the cost of housing while simultaneously throttling the ability of younger couples to get building permits to build new housing, creating artificial scarcity of homes and raising the prices of the average home to almost half a million dollars? Boomers.
Baby boomers have lived beyond their means for 65 years, living on these benefits (and government corruption) they didn't want to pay for. Now the younger generations will inherit their debt at 35 trillion dollars (growing every year) and see none of the benefits they enjoyed. It will be 300K per taxpayer by the time Baby Boomers all die out. So they will have lived in the lap of luxury and decadence their entire lives and left the rest of us with the bill that our children, our children's children, and beyond will not be able to pay for.

Boomers, who struggle to kick their spoiled lazy adult children out of the nest.

Was that before or after you bailed out the banks and created artificial scarcity for housing and college degrees, driving the price of both to the highest they've ever been in the history of the planet?

Boomers, the last generation to actually work for a living.

The last generation to be over-paid for your work for a living and then under-pay their employers for working harder than then. Plus taking social security for themselves when they don't need it.
