I’ve already seen some great recommendations, so I’ll do some that haven’t cropped up yet. Death Note is brilliant, at least for its first half. Hunter X Hunter has a really terrible first arc, but if you can get past it you’ll be rewarded with one of the best animes oat. If you want to read some mangas, check out Tokyo Ghoul, Goodnight Punpun, Berserk, or Vagabond.
