My plan is simple (to me at least), that day, we’re going to be in Disneyland pretty much all day long, and they sell pride pins at the shops and whatnot there, so, when my dad does what he always does and he says he doesn’t like them, I’m going to laugh and say “oh by the way I’m Bi”, he’ll hopefully be caught off guard by that and think about what I said

Alright so my mom and dad (the one she’s married to) are not against LGBTQ, the one I’m going to tell..he *might* be homophobic, key word is might

You're smart for doing it in front of people, that way nothing too bad can happen. But you may want to plan for the worst just in case, also you should be prepared to do a lot of explaining as parents often have questions.

I know, I haven’t thought of a backup plan yet but I’ve got a week and a half to think of one

yeah doing it infront of people is a good idea. but i feel like just saying it has no smoothness to it so if you can spot a bi one say that you like the colors.
