I will say that Don Bluth, Toru Hara, and Ralph Bakshi were absolutely cooking in the 1970's.

Yeah. While 2D animation from the 1990s and 2000s were my personal favourite, ignoring 2D animation from the 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s is absolutely criminal. Don Bluth was awesome! Hanna-Barbera is also my favourite from that era as well. Their animated films and series were based as!
