If it stopped at just being polite, then no. But we both know it's insidious. Sure, it started off as something fairly humorous, but it's obviously metastasized in society thanks to libs trying to control what we think and do. That's just one of the many things that modern libs have done thru various useful idiots, like the DNC, the media, etc.

I don’t think “the libs” are trying to control what we think or do. Maybe the larger political system, but I doubt that’s the goal of these individuals. Heck, most people don’t get mad over a politically incorrect statement unless it’s constantly happening from someone and that person’s intention is to be offensive
