The Israelis of Palestinian descent hold the key.
All they have to is stop being belligerent spoiled brats and live in peace.
Its so simple.

... that's just it, the Jewish People are the Original Palestinians from the River to the Sea.

There are 2 million Religious people of Mohammedanism (as Ben Franklin referred to them), the Religion of Peace, currently living in peace in the nation of Israel, amongst their Jewish Neighbors, in a country the size of the state of New Jersey.

The ones not willing to live in Peace, that inspire USA college students to chant "Intafada" live in the West Bank and Gaza, had been effectively living separately in relative peace, from 2005-Oct. 7th, 2023.

Here's a novelle idea Larry... stop attacking Israel... because every time they do they lose territory... and guess what? Hamas says now they'll accept the 1967 boundaries... I don't blame Israel if they don't believe them this time either.

I support Israel. I do not support Hamas. I do not hate Palestinians. I think it is time to try a new approach.

What? You're approach? Has Antony Stinkin' Blinken been calling you for advice?
It'd be the same lame outcome.

What is this new approach you two would like to try and impose upon them as outsiders?
From the Jordan River in the Land of Milk and Honey, To The Greek Mediterranean Sea?

Outside influence of bellicose Israeli enemies, such as Iranian Hezbollah, Houti's, and Hamas have copies of the keys to peace. They are reluctant to put them in the lock, let alone unlock it.
Are Sunni's and Shiites in agreement on ALL ?

The Golden Dome on the Temple Mount is a Colonization of an ancient BC 3,000 Jewish Holy Site; ( The Rock Abraham was about to sacrifice his son Isaac upon.) by the circa AD 700 arrival of the current Actual Colonists of the physical site, so that their Prophet may ascend from the same rock. (Descendants of Isaac's bro Ishmael). None of it is so simple. Many Revisionist Historians.
They call the wind the Mountain Moriah.

The two of 'em have been trading eyes and teeth ever since,
and may make the whole world blind.

Then, Lop into the mix, the Christian holy sites... Nazareth, Bethlehem,
and yes, the site of the Rock of Abraham is the same site, that Jewish Jesus as a 12 year old, was found by his parents.

Thank you all for your thoughtful comments.

Part of my family's heritage are the Penobscot people of Maine. Like most people whose family histories include native heritage, the amount of time that has passed since or lands were colonized and my access to the economic opportunities and personal freedoms inherent in the American culture and systems have made assimilation easy.

The colonists whose sympathy for European Jews, after the Nazis had been defeated, divided Palestine to create Israel. That delegated the non-Jewish residents of the area to the same second-class political status as the native people held in the early years of our country.

I have erred in letting people conclude that my suggestion is that we superimpose a confederation, My suggestion is that people much smarter than me, who are Israeli and Palestinian, consider how they could combine the human resources, political power, personal wealth and political power into a country where the children of Palestinian camp dwellers could rise above their humble beginnings and become accomplished citizens. Such opportunities made America great and created a shared loyalty and patriotism among people from all nations, races, religions and other distinctions that make America exceptional.
