Aye, that's true. Obviously the political Left is very upset over the success of the conservative operated Babylon Bee; and want to counter-attack. But the problem there is that the political Left no longer understands humor.
Avoiding cross ideological contamination would be the danger; except that conservatives are sort of naturally immune to nation-hating Marxist 'thinking'.
Currently the Babylon Bee is their competitor inside the United States; although it seems to me that the 'Bee" is more of a meme site than something aspiring to the goal of parodying the articles in a newspaper; which was the Onion's gig back in the day.
