There was a meme here a while back with the maths on power requirements if every car in a state was switched to electric.
It was roughly x8 the capacity of the power grid and every 3rd county would need an additional nuclear powerplant

Next time you see 6 Tesla superchargers, and feel good that someone is saving the planet, remember one thing, you could build 60 apartments on that same spot and use the SAME amount of electricity in a day as those superchargers take in an hour...... green energy's dirty little secret. Can't wait for all those rolling blackouts by 2035!

And they get such great mileage... Unless you use the radio, or a/c, or heat, or headlights, or turn signals, or brake lights, or... 😉
