I just got back you a local farmers market. The trip showed me what I already know, vendors are selling low quality foreign grown produce they pretend they grew and at outrageous prices.
Most of us in the co-op have cut way back on everything except what we plan to eat or sell locally.
I turned down the chance to double my income by suppling a distributor that fills the big box stores. I am not alone in refusing the offer. We would work harder and make less than ever before because of the costs involved. Combine that with the obvious why feed the people destroying the country?
When every tax dollar goes to an illegal there is no reason to make more money just to wash it down the drain. The commies can starve or as you suggested start planting. We will be fine.
