I also find it rich how crypto bros act like the dollar is "backed by nothing" the dollar is literally backed by the government, the very institution that has the power to arrest people, control the masses, take everyone's rights at whim and invade middle eastern nations for oil money. I find it rather hypocritical of libertarians to view government as something too incompetent to provide healthcare or a viable currency but also view government as something to be afraid of for it's powerful enough to control the masses and take away everyone's freedom. Here's another ironic thing, they think bitcoin is a good way of "beating the system" but government can easily track whatever transactions one makes with bitcoin through one's digital footprint, yet another ironic thing, government currency in the form of physical cash is better for making transactions without the government knowing. Even though it's created by the government, the government cannot track exactly where the paper money goes, who has it or what it's used to purchase.
