Israel has been bombing everyone and everything, they probably killed their own hostages.

That's definitely a possibility. But I believe the terms of the deal they were trying to negotiate was for 40 hostages. I heard something about that number including only women, children, and the ill.

Regardless, if they can't round up 40, then what leverage is there against Israel to make them stop the war?
