its not the style of government, its the people running it who are growing increasingly more corrupt and losing faith/going against the ideals that allows such a government to exist.

And the solution is? At least the conservative movement inside the Republican Party is TRYING to hold politicians up to traditional cultural and societal standards. Albeit they are trying and generally failing. The Dem Party -- on the other hand -- is now pretty much openly embracing corruption and authoritarianism.

They both embraced corruption long ago. You are blinded by ideological bias.

As for a solution, the declaration of Independence states our right to rebel and tear the system down, then rebuild it as it was intended to be. This will need to happen at least once every couple centuries.

if you still believe in parties, left vs right, liberalism or conservatism, you've lost the plot both sides work together in different ways to increasingly become more censorious and to give rights to themselves and their businesses' and cronies than to protect the American public from corruption, environmental destruction, and corporate greed raising the standard of living to a level only the extremely wealthy can meet.
