Iger nearly lost control of Disney this year because shareholders were ANGRY that he and his WOKE political agenda has been financially wrecking them. It was apparently that close. Now he's saying that WOKE is a personal preference and not a business model. Nobody sane believes him, of course. We shall see what happens with Disney's movies so far as insane WOKE ideology goes and if that bottom line plumps up again.

Chatter around the online Disney community suggests another proxy fight next year with Elon throwing his 5000 gallon hat into the mix. That could be fun.

I'd absolutely love to see that happen. Elon in essential control of Disney would change . . . everything.

Fire 90% of the staff.. burn most of the films currently in the works ... Turn the film industry into an entertainment option again. Wins all around.

It would certainly produce drastic changes in their end product. For one, they might cease being such a money-pit. It should NOT cost 250 million dollars to film and promote a movie; and that has now become the typical cost of a feature Disney film. It's ridiculous.

And they shouldn't lose money on every film they produce. They will want to hurry and put whatever is left of snow ish white before it's burned.

Aside from Bob Iger himself, Disney's problem is that they are so financially invested in D.E.I. that it's going to cost them heavily to root it out of their business model -- not just in making movies, but in the actual running of their mammoth company -- that is, if they can even do it at this point without wrecking themselves.
