BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — With the Democratic National Committee holding its convention days after Alabama’s certification deadline, Secretary of State Wes Allen said there is a possibility President Joe Biden may not appear on the ballot in the state. In a statement sent to the Alabama Democratic Party Chair Randy Kelley Tuesday, Allen said that the party must provide a certification of nomination for president and vice president no later than Aug. 15. However, the party will be holding its convention in Chicago on Aug. 19-22.
