It doesnt matter where Jesus was born, the conflict in the middle east is a result if the sinful human nature
The fact that jesus lived in one of the countries does not matter
What matters is that he died for the sins of the entire world, paying the price for the nations on both sides of every war
The way we thank him is trying not to sin anymore, not using him against someone else because we believe differently than them

The word 'Palestine' has two different meanings:
1- The people of the Gaza Strip (also called Philistines historically)
2- The area in which Israel and Gaza are located, stretching from the Mediterranean to the Jordan River

In this case, the reference is to the second meaning.

And also, Jesus was born at the time of the Roman Empire, when Herod was the 'secondary' king of Israel, under Caesar.

Historically, the Palestinians occupied just the Gaza strip, and they settled in the rest of Israel fairly recently.

Hmm… now I wonder, why would the region from the river to the sea be called “Palestine”, and the people inhabiting the region called “Palestinians”? 🤔
