I am a firm believer in abortion rights and I feel that this is a very good compromise. There are only a few things I object to, the first being the cost, most people trying to get an abortion are people who have been raped, many of these people would be struggling and wouldn't be able to pay this. The second thing is the one abortion per person, as a person can get raped multiple times or would die if they kept the baby. Finally, if your going to try to prevent abortions, most mothers who couldn't get one would put their kid up for adoption, meaning that you should also have a better foster care system in place.

True, but to a certain extent, many of those abortions are because the mom can't support the cost of childbirth or would die because of the pregnancy. I understand the contempt towards people who just got one for the heck of it though.
