Depends on where the land is.

If urban, you will not be permitted to live in a tent, car, camper, tiny house, or mobile home.

But a hobo can live on your property in a tent, car, under a tarp, on a pallet under a discarded shower curtain hung from a tree - and you can't make them leave!

Why in the world would anyone want to stay in the city? If your family truly loved you....they would want you to leave

But your fam, Uncle Sam, does not love you and wants to herd, then corral, you into urban centers. Easier to manage you. Watch you. Eavesdrop on you. CONTROL you. Mwaaa ha ha ha!

... a third path for Gen Z might be to rent until all the BOOMERS with 3 homes get caught by Old Age,
pass away, and because they can't take it with 'em, leave behind plenty of nice housing for Gen Z to occupy while Boomers are pushing up daisies for all eternity
