the founding father's in my opinion were some of the best leaders of all time.not just because of their acts during the revolution and setting up america,but because they knew that corruption and selfishness is an eternal and inescapable thing.deciding to limit the power of the government and to put the rights of the people first at all times was what made them great leaders.

Agreed! The life of the likes of George Washington is always fantastic reading. A man that was the target of every enemy sharpshooter on the battlefield. Never hit but his clothes would have bullet holes. He could've been king of a new nation but chose to step aside. Clearly, he held power but power never held him.
