I just had a debate with a "don't call them illegal" type that argued against my premise that illegals were importing disease due to poor, or even non-existent, vaccination programs in their home countries.

However, (insert applicable gender identity) cast blame on life long American citizens who have not been getting their children vaccinated.

Three million + people, largely unvaccinated for anything and importing parasites and tropical diseases could not possibly be the cause.

(Insert applicable gender) would not even concede that illegal immigrants COULD BE a contributing factor.

I worked in hospitals all over. Everywhere there were migrants from Central America there were many cases of active TB, a disease for which a vaccine has long existed and can be cured with antibiotics.

I am not and never have been anti vax , I am pro health science - so please make sure to e mail these 3rd world countries and tell their government how dumb and racist they are for not mandating vaccines on the populations of their own. People would be more welcoming to immigrants if they were not bringing deadly diseases over with them , you know?
