Trump and Biden both got five deferments. Four each were for being full time college students. After his Selective Service Physical, Biden was given a 1-Y classification for Asthma. People with 1-Y classifications can be drafter after people with 1-A classification are all drafted. Reportedly, a Podiatrist who rented office space from Fred Trump, diagnosed the "Bone Spurs," that disqualified high school and college athlete Trump. Asked about the limitations of these after the war, he said they "cleared up."
