I did actually get one of them to give me the information and I verified it. However, he was only in active duty for 2 years, and became a furry after he quit the military.

Impersonation of a service member is the act of acting like you were a real military member who served. Not pretending to be a soldier, roleplaying as a member from the military, or giving each other ranks.
