Same. My friend group is falling apart and it’s making me pretty sad but my gf is a big help. I love her so much

You think that’s bad enough? I lost the last 3 years of my childhood and my current teenage years to depression

The way I precive it, depression didnt take away a few months of my life, it was a part of those months. If you perceive it as an obstacle, it motivates you to overcome it. Once you overcome that obstacle, you feel very accomplished

Life is like a mountain. You keep doing your best to climb it and you wanna have fun while doing it. But once you reach that mountain top of happiness, the only way to go is down; and people just wanna see you fall. Don’t let that happen. Quit hanging out with those people that wanna see you fall and hang out with those that help you climb. You’re still young and you won’t ever be young again so go out and enjoy this mountain of life.

Ironically if you quit expecting to be happy all the time you end up being less depressed.
Also it's a waste of time to worry about what other people think about you. People who's opinions shouldn't matter.
