Yeah, 2025, it's all over.
Given Trump's age, the end won't last THAT long (not that it won't seem excruciatingly long, but will be a tad too long for a very many), 10-15yrs. The GOP doesn't have anybody else to step in his golden panties, so it'll be a shambles and all the rioting will be more than they can handle.
Soldiers from big open rural places aren't quite adept at handling getting shot at from atop concrete canyons, and if there actually are any Brownshirt militias still around, they can only handle their own drunken rides for a day before they have to go home and have mommy make them some Hot Pockets to go along with their Bud lights. They're kind of scared of cities so they won't be much of a factor, unless burp jokes are anybody's thing.
But whatever's left from the ashes doesn't get to shrug its shoulders and say, "Oops, sorry, big mistake, but we're back, OK, everything's cool, right?" We don't get to reclaim our place, as if we could, and no one will have the respect nor need for us that they once had. It'll be like the UK after WW II. We'll be like France to the EU, way less significant than they like to pretend they are, but the EU can use the numbers so they'll smile and go along as if they kind of sort of almost nearly practically mattered in some way or another.
That's best case scenario. We might end up more like Italy or Greece, the drunk cousin at the party, the "Oh, them guys said something?" guys.
