There are only 2 options. With God or against God. Against Him = loss. Listen, we can declare we will do life His way. Say Thy will be done. Or choose a different path, any other path and when we are before God, He will say, thy will be done. if we don't want anything to do with Him now, He will except our choice and we will forever be away from Him in the only other place available.
