How many countries east have become members of the UN? Why did the UN refuse to admit Russia into the UN when they filed for entry? Which would end any aggressions between us? Oh yeah that's right. The UN only exists to combat Russia, if they admit them to the UN there is no reason for them to exist! They would lose all power and control! Russia (formerly the Soviet Union) has been in the UN from the beginning. They're permanent members of the UN Security Council. Russian is one of the six UN official languages. The former Warsaw Pact nations are in the UN (except East Germany, obviously).

I was a Democrat until 2017. The only national non democrats I have ever voted for was Ross Perot, Ron Paul, and Trump 2020. I did not ever change any of my positions! The left moved away from where they had traditionally been! Leaving me to vote for the party that most closely resembles my positions! Which except for reproductive rights (which I am fixed so that does not concern me, yet have been told I got 4 women pregnant since my procedure) is a lot closer to my positions. We should leave the entire globe alone. Pull all our bases from other countries and only protect global shipping that affects us! Let other countries deal with their own problems. Or they can rent out our military at a profitable hourly rate!

I heard the same exact story from every Trump supporter on this site since 2017. To date, I've encountered only one single person here who claims that he actually voted for Trump in 2016. ONE. And he only claimed that he did after I said a similar thing to somebody else who said what you just said.

And you know what? They're telling the truth. They all either turn out to be foreigners or children too young to vote, or both. So, yes, they did not vote for Trump in 2016.

Russia never asked to join the UN or NATO. In fact, the possibility of maybe being offered to join NATO one day was actually made to Russia some years ago. A bit of a stretch thinking it might actually happen, but it was said.
