Nah. Putin is the opposite Yeltsin. He knows hot to run a country and has morals. Yeltsin was an idiot who didn't care about people. Putin would upvote this if he saw it. (And don't believe the "Russia suppressing people" propaganda. I know Russians. It doesn't happen)

All Putin cares about is power, if he actually cared about the people he wouldn’t be killing those who oppose his power, Yeltsin was far from perfect but he was miles better than Putin.

Putin doesn't kill his opposition. It's Putin's allies such as Surovikin who do those things. They realize that if Putin doesn't have power, they won't either. Putin passed numerous laws to improve people's lives in Russia. All Yeltsin did was create stupid tax laws, which caused economic turmoil in Russia. He also allowed oligarchy corruption. Putin doesn't. Ever wondered why most Russian oligarchs are never in Russia? Also, Yeltsin decided to attack Chechnya and annex it for absolutely no reason other than the fact that it was a small country that was next to Russia. And he lied about Russian deaths in Chechnya as well as telling commanders to "dispose" of bodies.

Correct, Putin has morals, really really bad ones.
And his version of running a country is as a 3rd rate despot who wishes he was Hitler of all things. Let that sink in: A Slav. A Russian Slav. Who's a wannabe Hitler.

He is more of a wannabe Peter the great, He is definitely a ultranationalist but he is far from a socialist these days.
