It is not a “hostile takeover,” what Nelson Peltz wants is to join the Board of Directors. A “hostile takeover” is an acquisition against the company’s wishes. So it is not an acquisition, not even close.

The current 'board' has very little skin in the game. Egor has "divested" himself of much of his stock in the company. Not generally something the head of the brand normally does, unless their agenda is to tank a company.
