/j, seriously though I don't get why people complain about the movie not being gorier, when those same people would not be able to watch the movie if it was.

I mean I did want to see a realistic springlock, but I think the springlock scene made it as realistic as possible without making R rated (And Matthew lillards acting in it was SO GOOD)

and the best part? I think you could realistically "survive" that. at the very least, it would take an extremely long time to die, meaning plenty of time for remnant to infuse the suit and give us a villain for the next two films. though I don't understand how the springlock suit functions like power armor.

Fr the only reason I was half disappointed was because my expectations were way too high

It actually exceeded my expectations, as it delivered a film that would hit every single game in some way, shape, or form, and was tame enough that every fan of the franchise could enjoy it without being scarred mentally (for those younger than 10-13)

I agree, I just wanted more of the springlock scene and hadn’t expected a different universe, though it was pretty obvious there would be one

Though the springlocks didn't quite make sense in the movie, I still think it was a good scene
