The US government is supposed to follow the leadership of the people.

I heard a campaign ad from a man running for governor in which he stated he would run the state like a business and treat the people like they deserve to be treated - as valued customers.

Sounds sweet, but it ain't.

I am of the opinion that an elected representative should treat the people that employ him like the OWNERS of that business.
