Up-voted your comment earlier (as that was all I had time for then) but wanted to mention that I am not surprised to hear that about you, BFF. I think that is a heck of a hard thing to give up for a man. I saw so many conservatives do the same when Colin Kaepernick decided to disrespect his country (and essentially his parents as well) years ago now. I don't know if I could have given up sports if I liked them as much as you guys do. Tough call but respect your decision and I hate whining, b*tching, ungrateful leftist 'victims', too!
