It is a little late, but the reason was that my sneeze used to be like a high-pitched scream, and the teacher was foreign. So she thought I was just goofing off and trying to be a class clown when I wasn't. Months later, I play football, and in one of my games recently, I got a throat injury. Now, I physically cannot make a high pitch count whatsoever; my sneezes sound like a bad wheeze.
