This has all been set up, for example one of our past mayors proclaimed that all homeless people are disabled. So all services and funding goes to the homeless services and the disabled are pushed onto other organizations.

The homeless aren't disabled - addicts and malingerers the lot of em.

It is not a lack of services but a lack of will.

The depressing thing is the molly coddling of the "homeless".

Feed a stray it is there to stay...and will draw others that likewise think they should not have to exert effort to sustain themselves.

The coddling of the homeless as you call it in the city I live in has gotten to the point that the homeless, criminals and drug dealers have more rights than the residents, businesses, and property owners.

I have to admit that sizes it up.
