A fetus is not a baby. It is a potential baby. If we made it illegal to kill something’s potential then we’d have to ban the public school system. :P

A toddler is also not a baby. Neither is a kid, a teenager, an adult, and so on. Can we kill them for the sake of convenience?

A baby can survive without being attached to its mother, a fetus can’t. So clearly not the same.

In countless ways. pffffffft, they can't even drink out of a pristine clean mountain stream without chancing swallowing an amoeba that'll eating them from the inside out. Eat raw meat? They have to process the most basic simplest food items just to be able to digest it without puking their guts out and dying of diarrhea. People in the tropics. THE TROPICS. Would die of exposure if they don't sleep without shelter and a fire to keep them warm. IN THE TROPICS.

But it’s possible. If a fetus comes out of the womb in the first trimester or early in the second, it’s not surviving no matter what you do. Later in the second it’s not surviving without modern medicine keeping it alive. Only in the third trimester— the point where abortions are no longer allowed— does it have a reasonable chance of survival and being cared for normally.

So basic literacy wasn't part of the curriculum then?
