It was a fact with the incredible Takingadumposaurus AKA Poopysaurus Hoax until it turned out to be a fraud. Same with the next one. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand a few others.

I called it that back then, because even I, totally unqualified to be even called an amateur, couldn't figure out why there was this darker rock between his legs, like it took a dump when it died,,,
Turned out the reason why was because that stone not only did not come from the same fossil, not the same species, not even the same rock formation. It came from a few miles away.

That dino definately had feathers.

Nope, it's a fraud, a chimera hoax. The composite parts were not only not from the same formation, they came from miles apart. The same farmer that cobbled it together also etched the feathers.

If you where around back then when this was new news, you would have seen that this and the second alleged feather dinosaur were debunked around the same time for faked feathers.
But that's ok, they say, because all the ones found afterwards were totally legit *rolls eyes*

Not all dinos had feathers, but many did.
