It depends on where you are starting from. Already a follower? Not yet a follower? Romans is good. Ephesians is also good. If it's been a long time, maybe start with Matthew, go through Revelation then go to Genesis and read all the way through.

I German the book is called "Apostelgeschichte" which would translate to "Apostle story" but I'm not sure how the book is called in English. That one was just a typo

New Testament. Great starting places are John and Romans. But if you're really unsure, pray to the Lord and ask Him to direct you. I think you will find what He wants you to find if you continue to seek after Him.
