I like to remain optimistic, but WHAT THE HECK? | "DHS welcomes today’s Supreme Court order.

Enforcement of immigration law is a federal

responsibility," the statement began. "Rather

than helping to reduce irregular migration, the

State of Texas has only made it harder for; frontline personnel to do their jobs and to apply

consequences under the law. We can enforce

our laws and administer them safely, humanely,

In 1854, Wisconsin engaged in 'nullification and/or interposition'. Wisconsin interposed itself between a federal marshall and a 'slave', Joshua Glover, that had 'apparently' wandered away from their 'owner' in violation of federal law. By the time the federal government worked through the legal issues, Mr. Glover had wandered to Canada. If the federal government were actually doing it's job of securing the border, any state interfering with that would be in the wrong. Our feds, however, are actively participating in the invasion of the country. The next filing should come from Governor Abbott or one, or more, of the affected states and their AGs and demand that the Federal government be held accountable for subverting article 4 section 4 of the Constitution. "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them from invasion.."
