Thankfully no. Joe was trying to thanks Deborah Ross, who wasn't even at the event in Raleigh, NC. When Joe started stammering yet again, he said Deborah was there and he had just taken a picture with her, then he realized that she wasn't there and that the picture didn't happen at all. If anyone's grandpa was already in this stage of dementia, they wouldn't let him drive a car, much less "run" the United States.
