Well, looking for a better job is gonna take a while as it's really not as easy as it was in the 50s but even though one has a crappy minimum wage job, they should be thankful they have a job at all. I don't think minimum wage workers have nothing to complain about but they also should realize things could be worse for them such as being a freelancer. The way I see things, freelancers have it the hardest, freelancers don't have stable work. Work for them is only on a per gig basis and a gig is really not a guarantee and even when a freelancer does get work, they still have to deal with clients who give them trouble about paying for the work, trying to chisel the freelancer for a cheaper rate and also outright refusing to pay the original amount that was agreed upon after the freelancer did hours of thankless work for them. Minimum wage workers do complain about the government not raising the minimum wage or customers at the restaurant being rude and refusing to tip but those minimum wage workers should be thankful they are getting paid at all for they are protected by government enforced labor rights laws that make their employer doesn't try to get away with not paying them and not have to argue with assholes who refuse to pay them despite what was agreed upon in the first place. Unfortunately for freelancers, government can't force their clients to pay them.
