It was below freezing here in Georgia for a few days this week. Only in the mornings/at night, but no snow. It’s very rare for snow here.
It used to be called an e-learning day when we got no school but still had schoolwork, but they started calling it asynchronous this year for some reason. Maybe because our A-day and B-day classes are technically In the same day, I dunno. Hope you’re having a good time and that the new year is going well!

damn, i got 2 inches, which melted, then froze back. That means we got big puddles of slippery ice

In souther Illinois we had about 2 inches of snow that almost melted, then it snowed some again last night. We also have a wind chill advisory and it's in the single digits.

And to add on top of this, a bunch of people's busses never even showed up this morning, so they were stuck standing put in this weather for so long
