*Down in the deep parts of the underworld, where the world is covered in frost, she runs into a stand with a strange, short skeleton*

*Calais sees the stand walks up to it*

*Calais turns to the microwave*

*Calais puts the food in, and then realizes the microwave is unplugged*

*a small tablet-like device falls on Calais' head through a portal*

*Calais looks at the device*

*the device glitches out, but then stops and she can see Astra on the screen with data and Peyton in the background*

Astra: hello? Is anyone there?

*Calais looks at the screen and starts to feel anxious again but she starts to get confident to speak*

Calais: H-hi?

Data: YES! I TOLD YOU IT WOULD WORK!

*Peyton hands data a 20 dollar bill, visibly annoyed*

Astra: good, you can hear me. Data and Peyton made this device so we can speak to you in the underworld from up here.

Peyton: ... I mainly just helped with getting it into the underworld.

Calais: thats probably going to help my social anxiety but how is this going to help me escape?

Astra: uhh... I didn't think that far ahead, sorry.

Data: I did. I added sonar to this thing, so it can create a basic map of the area. Any anomalies will be marked in red but it won't be able to tell what the anomaly is, so it could be an enemy, or it could be a weirdly shaped rock.

Calais: Good luck mapping out hell… these levels are always changing to prevent escapes

Data: well I made it so the map can update whenever the environment changes. It'll only show you whatever's within range though

Calais: okay good!

Data: Peyton was really helpful in telling me about what to expect in the underworld
