Continuing appeasement could have prevented World War 2! Nowadays it is generally agreed that World War I was a completely pointless and unnecessary war that should have been avoided. Same with Bush's war on terror. Yet saying the same about World War II is considered to be much more controversial. But WWII caused more bloodshed than any other conflict in history and was responsible for countless negative knock-on effects (the iron curtain, the cold war, the nuclear arms race, etc).
Had the Treaty of Versailles not been so harsh and unreasonable, the German people may have never been disaffected enough to elect Hitler into power. And even if that didn't stop Hitler becoming Fuhrer, he wouldn't have been as expansionist because Germany would have retained much of its territories, so the persecution of German minority populations in neighbouring countries like Poland would have never occurred.
Because Hitler's initial plans for territorial expansion were limited mostly to Eastern Europe in order to crush Bolshevism once and for all, the evil Soviet Union could have been defeated and the catastrophic Holodomor genocide could have been averted. But instead, Churchill and Roosevelt allied with Stalin, and enabled him to dominate half of Europ, spread communism around the world, and cause the deaths of tens of millions.
But instead, Germany was further antagonised by the Franco-Soviet pact and Britain's defensive guarantee to Poland that further emboldened their persecution of its German minority population. Yet, as detailed in Mein Kampf, Hitler was an Anglophile who had no quarrel with Britain. But the warmongering globalist politicians and (((bankers))) felt threatened by Germany and its economic recovery. It's why King Edward was forced to abdicate and Churchill was installed as Prime Minister. They WANTED war! And they caused the death of the British Empire in the process.
Some may justify WWII as a necessary effort to stop the holocaust, but the war only resulted in even more deaths. In fact, had the war never happened, then Germany's plan to relocate their jewish population to Madagascar could have been enacted. But the conflict actually just caused more jews, gypsies, and Slavs to be sent to camps where thousands starved due to Allied bombing of supply lines. And that's not even taking into account the debatable accuracy of the holocaust death rate (which is a whole other discussion that's illegal to talk about in most of Europe).
