Don't you love that people with tons of money want to tell you what you can drive and ban your paid-for vehicles too?

I have a lot of gas vehicles. I am not giving them up until the wheels fall off. And since I am a hellagood mechanic, that ain't likely to happen! Stay out of my garage liberals!

Okay so witless comments and brain dead longer then needed title aside…this actually does make a good point.

EVs won’t save society because we need more public transportation and so long as EVs keep being built for and by the luxury vehicle demographic that’s just not even close to a stop gap. Which only leaves older used EVs for the poor with minimal support on end of life vehicles with locked software.

I say this as an I3 owner maintenance tech.

People will adopt EVs when they are cheaper, have longer range, faster charging, and have enough infrastructure because it will be cheaper but we aren't there yet. Keep your gas cars, when they fall apart from being 20-30 years old, maybe EVs will be a better option, for now, I'll split the difference and get a hybrid. You do you.
