The left will soon notice a similar drop in the medical, professional, and blue-collar ranks. People are walking away from jobs everywhere; money alone is not enough to serve the left. We the people are more than willing to let the system collapse. There is a cost associated with forcing people to pretend DEI is anything other than what it was designed to be anti-white racism. The left forgot that many people are of mixed bloodlines, have white friends, family, know and love Christians, conservatives and the patriots the left demands them to hate.

I agree; but here's something interesting that the collective political Left is pretending isn't happening. The true gender division in Generation-Z is that white males are substantially becoming aligned with conservatism -- as a reaction to D.E.I. ideology whereas white females are still breaking left and hard left because until recently D.E.I. has been to their advantage.

That will quickly change as there are so many victims of serious crimes that even the left can't hide them all. My dad used to tell me about a lady teaching shooting classes for the NRA, she was a leftist until she was raped. It took her being a victim before she switched sides and decided that once was enough. Not the method I would recommend but what a powerful instructor she must have made.

I've met several people like this over my life time. That is to say, they had different specific reasons for finally embracing sanity; but a common thread was that something jarring happened to them that snapped them awake.

It is sad that it takes the drama to wake some people up, but I suspect it is a lifelong change and there is no going backwards.

Yes, because after the jarring event they begin to think intensely about their past and present and actively look for disconnects. In other words, "This is what I am being told . . . but is this true, or do I just want it to be true?"

It's no longer confirmation bias, but confirmation based on doubt. When that intellectual pattern becomes a habit, permanency ensues.
